Girls Getaway began in 2003. The vision of Girls Getaway was to take approximately 20 non-Christian girls between the ages of 12-15 away to the Bunya Mountains for a weekend of fun and relationship building. We aim to have a leadership team of 12 women from different churches, plus 3 Christian girls. Activities for the weekend include: bush walking, make-overs, jewelery making, group discussions, a big birthday party for all the girls 
and heaps of CRAZY games! Many of the girls come from rough backgrounds, so the weekend gives them an opportunity to get away and enjoy a weekend they will remember for the rest of their life. Girls Getaway has taken away around 250 girls so far, some of these girls have become Christians and many of them are now involved in youth groups.
